Sustainable Economy Summit - laif foundation for independent photojournalism

The first comprehensive transformation congress at decision-maker level took place from December 11-13 in Berlin. Robert Habeck (patron), Maja Göpel and many other renowned speakers are involved. The event is backed by a group of 13 transformative business associations.

The issues of sustainability and responsibility are becoming increasingly important for future generations. The United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals are to be implemented by 2030. The recently published mid-term review of this project highlights the urgent need for a comprehensive socio-ecological transformation. Alongside politicians, companies are seen as key players in this process.

The event took place under the patronage of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection and brought together around 400 invited guests gathered at C-Level in the AXICA event location and the Allianz Forum in the heart of the government district. The program on the main stage was broadcast via livestream.
